LENT STUDY : CHRISTIAN AID – ACT ON POVERTY Please join us for a hybrid (online and in-person) 6 week study over Lent to empower us to act on poverty. No Bible or church experience necessary and no need to commit to all 6 weeks. We will study Scripture passages, reflect, discuss and pray together. A short PDF packet will be sent out in advance each week covering the topics: Prophetic, Broken, Generous, Located, Hopeful and Together. Come join us on Wednesday evenings (7–8 pm) starting on 25 February in Cramond Kirk Hall (Committee Room) and online on Zoom. Please email Rev Julia A Cato for more details at  jcato@churchofscotland.org.uk.

POWERPOINT SLIDE CLICKERS NEEDED! Calling anyone with a thumb … we are in need of volunteers to move the slides on during the 10 am services at Cramond. It really is a very easy task, you can sit anywhere in the Kirk (or at the moment the Hall) with the wee remote and you simply press a button to move the slide on. If you’d like to join the clicker rota, please speak to Jane Robson on a Sunday morning or email Louise in the Kirk Office.

HOME BAKING One of the most popular stalls at the Jumble Sale is the home baking stall and donations of home baking, including jams and preserves, would be very much appreciated. The jumble sale is being held on Saturday, 28 February and donations can be brought to the Hall on the Friday afternoon or before 10 am on the Saturday.

VISITING TEAM COFFEE MORNING The next Visiting Team coffee morning will be held at the Bruntsfield Golf Club on Thursday, 12 February from 10.30 am to 12 noon.  Cost : £5. Please let Louise in the Kirk Office know if you’d like to attend. All are welcome and we look forward to seeing you there for a happy morning full of scones and chat.

A CEILIDH FOR ALL is being held in Cramond Kirk Halls on Saturday, 21 February from 6.30 pm to 9 pm. Ceilidh Caleerie will be playing – the same excellent band we had last year – and refreshments, including hot pies, will be available. Tickets cost £15 (£5 for under 18s) and will be on sale on Sunday mornings, from the Kirk Office during the week or by emailing office@cramondkirk.org.uk. Please join us for a great evening of music and dancing.
